The world is infinite, wonderful and holds many secrets. We believe that humans’ purpose is to explore. Everything we do, driven by our passionate curiosity, is a new step on this road.

This curiosity led us onto the exciting path of homebrewing around 2010. At first the joy of discovery and creation drove us; the realisation that not only drinkable but in fact particularly good beer can be brewed at home, in the kitchen. Then we dove deep into experimentation, the variety of ingredients, the beer types’ infinite diversity, the mysteries of biochemistry, the ever-improving methods, tools, equipment. We got sucked in by brewing.

But we didn’t stop there! We wanted to show to others that the world of beer is grander than what we thought prior to all this. We wanted to share the joy of discovery with as many people as we could. For this reason we created White Rabbit Brewery, with which we open a gate to those who – like us – are ever driven by curiosity.

The base weizen’s fruitiness was improved upon by the addition of real mango and passionfruit. The end result is an exceptionally refreshing and special beer!

DDH DIPA

8,3% - 17,8°B – 86 IBU – 11 EBC

During the first brew of our double dry hopped double IPA, the smell of hops was so intense, that a couple dozen police officers visited us with a search dog. They didn’t find what they were looking for, but you did, assuming you’ve been looking for a serious hop bomb.

Heavy weight, black as the night specialty lager. The taste of dried fruits and chocolate are gorgeously complemented by the coffee beans we add to the fermenters.

Sour ale fermented with Kveik yeast. Responsible for the fruitiness are the special yeast and the sour cherry purée that is added during the fermentation.

Citrusy American hops, lemon peel and kettle souring achieves the lemon vibe, added lactose the creaminess. Beware, it’s addictive!

Our base NEIPA is creamy, aromatic and not at all bitter. Exactly what you want from a NEIPA.

Baltic porter aged in Benriach scotch barrels. The base beer’s body is complemented by the smoky aroma of the whisky.

A major heavy-hitter; alongside the classic American Chinook we added Australian and New Zealander hop varieties - Galaxy, Enigma and Rakau! The 11% abv isn't noticeable, and the end result is definitely not sweet either.

Baltic porter aged in Ardbeg scotch barrels. The Islay-based distillery is well recognised by it’s extreme use of peated malt, and this smokiness dominates the aged beer as well.

Fehér Nyúl x Hara`Punk Brewing Roughly poached, fruity and sour due to the abundance of oranges. The alcohol warms you up pleasantly, and the aftertaste gives you what you wanted, a good quality orange dark chocolate.   UNTAPPD

baltic porterAlc. 9,8% vol.|22°B|44 IBU|94 EBC|Baltic porter is not an easy style to brew, nor to consume. This traditionally strong, malty dark lager is a mountain of a beer in its classic form, however, we upped the game. Only when turned towards the light can you spot a slight carmine hue, otherwise it’s as black as the bottom of the ocean. Whilst sinking into its depths, you will experience the taste and aroma of dried fruits, chocolate, and a wee bit of coffee. The intense flavor pairs with a slight warmth. Not exclusive to winter nights!

Smoky wheat beer with ananas

During a heavy session of drinking beers, one of us suggested to make a new smoked beer, but this time with fruit! So, we did it. The addition of smoked malt to the wheat base believe it or not, matches with pineapple’s flavor and sweetness very well!   UNTAPPD

Marques

Porto barrel-aged version of the wee heavy. It is deceptive in its aroma: it can be easily mixed with long-aged Belgian malt sparkling wines. When taken in the mouth, the acidity typical of red wines is complemented by the body of the malt and the sweet taste. UNTAPPD

Islay Tales

Our experimental wee heavy was also paired with 4 types of barrels. Being a Scottish beer type, it was clear that we should try it in a Scotch whiskey barrel as well. To our project with Whiskeynet, they added the barrel, which came straight from the Kilchoman distillery. The result is a soft, harmonious beer, with grain notes receiving the most emphasis. UNTAPPD

One Love

This Jamaican barrel added an interesting apple aroma and the sweet, caramel flavor typical of rum to the beer while the spirits are completely hidden. So we got a pleasant, easy-to-drink dessert beer, several of which can roll down one after the other. UNTAPPD

The brewery

Taproom

Our brewery is located in Budapest, Hungary, at a previous textile factory’s compound. We repurposed and renovated one of the buildings, and configured it for brewing beer and accepting guests and customers. New experimental beers (alongside our core lineup) are brewed and fermented here, alongside our Taproom where you are welcome to try our fresh beers.
